Guest guest
Hey Group, Educate me some. Did the 6 min walk and had blood gas done. My blood gas was 91.7 and the tech said I could turn the Co2 off while sitting with no activity. d my oxmeter with me to the test and wore it and the calibrated one she gave me for the test. Started off with no oxy with a reading of 92 ox and she timed me until ox dropped to 86. Stopped to rest and put ox at 1L and waited until reading got back up to 94. Walked some more until reading got below 85. Rested and turned ox up to 2L. Walked some more etc and ended up on 3L. My meter was close to hers. I was happy that the blood gas with no ox at rest was 91.7. That is border line and worse than it was Oct 05. At that time I had no oxygen to lean on. I am getting a little worse but I am thankful for every day our lord and savior gives me and you to add to our dash time. I Pray that God will give us a lot of dash time. Guest guest
Hi Grey, I to sit without O2 on but if I move from this chair . Up the nose with a rubber hose. Just to go to another room I'm 0n 2L, If I'm going to do anything it's 3 or 4. 4 for the treadmill. My 6 min walk without O2 the last time was only about 2 min. and dropped to 82. It took 3 min. to recover. But I have just about quit looking. I just turn up as much as I need to be comfortable. Ya know I feel good and do what I can and that is just about anything My husband comes up with. Or when my daughter comes we go shopping, so not to worry. I do check my oximeter while out doing to much. LOL Take care and scratch Miss Mollies back for me. Love and Prayers, Peggy 9/04 ipf > Hey Group, Educate me some.
