Guest guest
Prostate cancer is a complex disease. Doctors cannot always predict how fast or slow it will grow. Nor do they agree on when to treat it, or which treatments to use. Predicting and monitoring the disease with accuracy help doctors and patients make decisions that result in the best survival rates and quality of life. Below are some links for men with advanced disease you should read: http://prostate-cancer.org/resource/advancedprostatecancerhandbook.html http://www.ustoo.com/Experienced_Relapse.asp http://www.moffitt.usf.edu/pubs/ccj/v8n6/pdf/487.pdf http://www.prostatecancerfoundation.org/site/pp.asp?c=itIWK2OSG & b=47348 & msource=GOOGLE http://www.ustoo.com/Advanced_Disease.asp http://patient.cancerconsultants.com/prostate_cancer_news.aspx?id=32365 http://www.emedicine.com/med/topic3197.htm Kathy Meade Arlington Educational Consulting http://www.vapcacoalition.org/ http://www.naspcc.org/ phone fax And the trouble is if you don't risk anything, you risk even more. a Jong
