HI Rae...

That stuff is Cartlidge. I know...I have none in my left knee. Its all been

taken out during my many knee operations. It is no fun being bone-on-bone. My

knee swell constantly, and hurt more than I care to talk about. I would suggest

you doctor get you a good knee brace. I use one by Orthologic, called the

" Unloader " . It takes the pressure off my knee and creates space in between the

bones. It's bulky, but works.

well i went and saw my regular doctor and he took ex-rays of my knees... wow,

what a change since the last time he took them.. my right knee does not have

that stuff between the two bones that makes the joint be able to move.. looking

straight on to my knee, it is the inside that is bone to bone... the right side

still has that stuff *what is it called* i can not think of it right now...

duh! ha ha ha

well, he gave me a cortisone shot in my knee and said to stay off of it for at

least two days... and preferably three!

so i have been home resting...

it hurts so bad... :o(

he is hopeing that the enbrel and the cortisone witll take the inflamation

away... BUT, what if it doesn't???

i am feeling better everywhere else...:o) just can't walk... ha ha ha ha ha...
