Guest guest
" That was sooooooo yummy!! " ~~~ YES! It was! Please share, if you are so inclined! But then ALL the food I sampled was outstanding! I would LOVE to know how each dish was prepared <grin>... not that I do all that much cooking any more.. LOL.. In fact, today I cleaned and re- organized my small " galley " kitchen... moving less used stuff and replacing it with product samples from the generous suppliers... So far, I've emptied two drawers and one shelf I am having much more fun with this stuff than cooking! And now I have SO much more stuff to experiement with! Cudos to ALL the cooks! You might even get me cooking again! LOL BB, > Who was it that made the taco dip...was that Debbie Z? > > Would you mind sharing the recipe, please! That was sooooooo yummy!! > > Thanks! :-) > > > >

I don't post much, but, I read most everything. I thought it was time to let you know how much I appreciate the recipes you send. They always sound wonderful and mostly easy to prepare. I love to cook. But, as most of you know, it's gotten difficult as my disability's gotten worse. I'm always looking for new, tasty and easy ideas. You've given me many these past few months. My family's enjoyed a number of them. Think I'll try this one tonight while my guys are watching the game. Thank-you SO much for sharing : ) Patty/NJ

Guest guest
Taco Dip 1.5 lbs hamburger 1 medium onion, chopped 1 can refried beans 1 small jar hot picante sauce 1 package taco seasoning mix 16oz sour cream 12 oz cheddar cheese, shredded In a large frying pan, brown hamburger with onion. Drain fat. Stir in beans, sauce and seasoning mix. In a 2 qt casserole dish, Spread 1/2 of the meat in the bottom then 1/2 of the sour cream and 1/2 of the cheese. Then repeat, ending with cheese on top. Bake at 350 until bubbly about 20 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips. Note: It is not very spicy even though picante sauce is used. Jalapeno peppers can be added when browning the ground beef for more spiciness ~ " We all take different paths in life, but no matter where we go, we take a little of each other everywhere.
