Guest guest
It seems to me that if you are needing so much pain medication, the Humira isn't really working for you. Perhaps you should try something else. Have you tried Enbrel? That seems to work well for a lot of us. I used to take codeine on a regular basis, but don't need to any more. I am sure that so many pain meds could be contributing to your tiredness. M [ ] From Squarehead to all my sisters and bro's(Hi, larry, and Ray) Greetings..and help? Is it normal for a person w/RA to always be so tired all the time? I just can't seem to get going anymore...that's why I haven't posted lately..it seems to take all my energy to just get from the bedroom to the living room, and I miss talking with you, Marina, Angelina, Pat, Jane,Judith,a,,TawneyApril, Sue....all of you! I take two injections of MTX (80 units) and that darned Humira, which still burns, and I take a depression med, but I still don't have any energy anymore.Do you think it could be the pain meds? I take Morphine Sulfate(60 mgs), twice a day,and oxycodonew/325 mgs acetephetamine (probably mis-spelled) about twice a day, two of them...if I don't take that much I hurt like blazes, but I have to question someone who knows...am I over medicating myself? Shoud I just try and live with the pain and forget about the pain meds? Maybe it's just the " winter time blues " I just don't know anymore..The Government. init's " wisdom " has shut down so maany V.A.'s, that the one here in Asheville is so busy, people even coming here from out of state, that it's really hard to make a quick appt. ,and I am on a fixed income, with no medicare, and uneligible for medicaid...and exercize? Forget it! We only have one vehicle, a truck(with a wheel chair hoist on it), and my wife needs it to go to work, so I am stuck in our mobile home (no, i am NOT a " redneck " ), and the cold hurts, so I don't go outside. I'm sorry for so much whine-ing, I didn't mean to be so long...I miss hearing from all of you, and I miss WRITING to you...sorry for it...I miss you. Anybody with any sugesstions, I sure would appreciate..I am just so weary all the time. Love, ken Oh, before I forget...Larry, Tess, Grammi love, Tawney...your poetry is so beautiful!)
