Guest guest
Yeah, anyone else tried one of those inversion tables? i heard some good stuff about them is like doing traction. too bad due to the way my disc extrusion is that traction was contraindicated. Phys Therapy said that was the only thing to help other than TENS unit which didnt do enough to bother tho some lessening of pain. that gabapentin stuff makes me act retarded so cant take in fact on hot days causes confusion so bad cant count my change even. take short term narco's like ty 3's or vicodins etc., and you can only tell if you are dependent if you stop taking them. If you become totally aggravated, start sweating and become pukey and all guess what? you are " jonesing " AKA the withdrawals. oh yeah, and shaking etc. not fun. but have been on narc's since 91 mostly tho have got off in warm weather now and then or weaned down ... been trying to get my doc to put me on the patch last couple years but she just dont want to. at least she gives me something which is more than most docs in IN will do since state goes after them. but she is with VA so federal. later, chris > > > > > > I recently had horrible complications from a Spinal Cord Stimulator which resulted in Laminectomy at T7, T8, T9 and half of T10 to alleviate the pressure it caused on my spine. Without going into all the details I was left with horrible banding pain around my upper abdomen and loss of feeling in many parts of my stomach, back, and groing. My Pain Management doc put me on Lyrica IN ADDITION to Gabapentin along with my Oxycontin and Oxycodone. In his clinical notes he states " This is an anecdotal use of two membrane stabilizers that has been done at Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Englewood " . Within 6 hours of taking the Lyrica and Gabapentin together I started regaining some of the feeling back in my abdomen and a slight reduction in the banding pain. I wanted to mention this for anyone who has nerve pain or nerve damage as it my alleviate some of your symptoms IF you doctor is willing to prescribe both of them together. > > > > > > Take Care, > > > Greg > > > > >
