Guest guest
Actos is a prescription drug (pioglitazone) for pre-diabetes to combat insulin resistance. It has been found to be helpful to shift the immune system from the T2 or humoral towards T1, cellular immunity. It is being studied now to try to ascertain if it decreases gut and brain inflammation. It is a new rather expensive drug but is showing much promise so far in ASD.
