Guest guest
Hi everyone, I went to the doctor yesterday a.m. and my A1C was from 8.5 to 7.0! I'm working on getting it lower! Still on one actos and two glucophage in the a.m. and two glucophage in the p.m. Also, the nurse gave me a new lancing device which she hopes will work. She says the spring may be wearing out on the ones I was using. Let's hope that's true because I'm really tired of the eight or so sticks I've been having to do! Thanks to everyone for prayers and advice during this stressful time! Re: did I make it, thank you patricia, and I am doing good. ;,my doctor and I decided to use the combination on lantis and humilog. just need to figure the right dosage of each to take. friends wayne did I make it, just a fewlines to see if I got through, friends wayne Wayne Kerstetter Hot Springs, Arkansas oldbizus@... Guest guest
That's great Dina! You are obviously working on the diabetic control, even though the times are so stressful. Hope the new lancer device works. I to am very frustrated with the multiple sticks! Guest guest
Every advance toward a normal A1C is very beneficial for your body. The goal should be for you to have normal A1C readings, which would be an A1C reading of less than 5.5. Keep up the carb grams counting consumed and the two hour posttest. You are doing great work! did I make it, > > > > > > just a fewlines to see if I got through, friends wayne > > Wayne Kerstetter > > Hot Springs, Arkansas > > oldbizus@... > > > >
