Guest guest
Susie, I don't feel like I am coming down with anything. But you never know. I have 3 Grandchildren and my Daughter who are sick right now. The two little ones have ear infections. Well i did get a sunburn Saturday. Would that do it? LOL I appreciate your help. But with a total carb consumption for the day of only 66 grams, I would consider the non-food possibilities: stress and infection. Another consideration is that if our glucose levels drop too low (or at least lower than they usually are), our liver can kick in and cause puzzling hyperglycemic episodes. Time and testing will tell. Again, congrats on your good control! Susie >>

Guest guest
Hi Betty, Welcome to the list, I live in Manchester, England, I'm 30 and have had type 1 for about 6 years. Could you be coming down with a virus or anything, I know when I'm not feeling well my sugar level becomes elevated. Hope you find the answer. Bye Hello Good Morning Everyone, I just subscribed to your list this morning. My name is Betty. I am a mother of 2 and a grandmother of 3. I live in Connecticut. I just recently was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. So far I had it under control by watching my diet and exercise. But this weekend for some reason my sugar levels were high and still is. I watched my diet, so I don't know what elevated it. I am looking forward to learning all I can about this problem. I want to avoid medications if I can. Thanks Betty ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1 out of 3 have it and they don't know it. Guest guest
Just wondering if someone would tell me a bit about Bill and Dorothy Scarland. They sound like very special people. anne (dad ipf 03/06) Hello Hi all,To all those who know Bill Scarland the Canuk - this is an update. Just got off the phone with Dorothy who is a truly amazing woman. She stands by her man and would have it no other way. He is sleeping now quite a bit, between 20-22 hours a day. Their family is rallying around them, but as usual, please keep them in your prayers. What an inspirational family.Leanne ipf 1/03Moderator
