Guest guest
I'm sure it has been. Almost positive. I know there are some people on the Spina Bifida Lists that I am on who are not nearly affected by Tethered Cord as much as some of us are. I went 9 1/2 Years before Detetherings, that's pretty close to a Decade. My Symptoms started only a few Months before I had the Surgery. Actually I could say I went longer then that between without Symptoms, because I didn't have any Symptoms before my first Detethering. I personally do not believe that figure is too accurate.......but that's all I am going to say there, it's just my Opinion. Guest guest
Just because there are only about 250 on this List now, doesn't mean everybody else, or even the majority who isn't on the List that has Tethered Cord hasn't had a problem with it. There could be plenty of other reasons why they haven't joined. Guest guest
I went 9 1/2 Years between my first and second Detethering. I don't think anybody is trying to purposely scare anybody. We are just being honest, and telling what's what in regards to our own situation.
