Guest guest
Hi, I'm hoping to find any TMJD patients, preferably those who had surgery and or surgery with the use of TMJ implants regardless of implant type. Is anyone on this message board that may fall into those categories on here and not a member of another yahoo group, TMJD safe haven, another yahoo group? Why do I ask? First I am a multiply operated TMJD patient who has had several different types of implants. If anyone on here is of that group, U understand no doubt the frustration of this disorder and the lack of attention given to research as well as recognition in the medical community. I am hoping to find as many of us as I can so that TOGETHER we can unite as one voice and move forward with some hope of at least having our stories heard, helping to stop this from happening to anyone else and possibly formulating a plan for a series of individual videos to compile and then submit to YouTube. After we have accomplished coming together and the possibility of making multiple videos for youtube, then perhaps a documentary. In this newer age of the internet we don't need to wait for the media to come to us, we can go to them if we unite together behind one purpose. rather than to get very lengthy in this, I am keeping it short for now and simply hoping to find fellow sufferers, victims even. I;m in the process of starting a blog and very much need every patient I can find. Not for some hope of monetary gain , hardly...but of taking one last shot at hope and unification of all the patients so that we finally accomplish something with results. In conclusion, if you are one of these people or know someone who is please reply to this message, email me at krysteane@... or if U are on Face Book, let me know and we can possibly link up on there. thanks everyone for your time, its appreciated. g
