Guest guest
I've been enjoying catching up with everyone. Thanks for the comments and support about my handicapped parking pass. It is tough getting used to it.. but it's a God-send for sure. And you're right of course. Most people don't even notice me, or the fact I'm there. There have been a couple who've looked at me.. and one lady who made a remark. But the thing that has gotten me the most agitated, is how many park in those spots that do not have the pass!!!!! Or I can't find a place to park, and they are sitting there with their car running, waiting for someone to come out of the Mall. I actually idled my van behind one thinking he'd move when he saw me.. or his passenger would be right out. I left after 15 minutes. I couldn't get a spot close.. so went home. The spots were full of people with passes.. and without!!! And this guy waiting. Man THAT is aggravating. Dealing a lot with my left leg. Since I haven't posted in forever.. I'll brief you on what I'm dealing with. I have severe arthritis.. osteo, RA, and inflammatory. I was on 50 mg of Vioxx 2x/day for 3 years, and was removed when I suffered a Massive blood clot, the length of my left leg, into my chest. Crazy. It had already been removed from the market in the States, and was removed a month and a half later, here in Canada. I am obviously in the class action law suit against Merck now. My leg hasn't healed because the damage is so severe to it. I've been left with permanent problems walking with that leg, and some breathing difficulties. Walking is difficult as well, because the leg doubles in size after short times up, and I have to sit and put it up. Sitting is difficult, since there were such severe clots running up the back of my leg, including behind the knee... so I have to get up again. It's an incredibly comical vicious circle. I have severe arthritis in my spine, which allows me to walk mere feet, before I can't seem to continue without a rest. My arthritis is also in my hands (RA), elbows (RA) and wrists. It's in my knees, feet, back, neck, chest wall (another osteo condition), large leg joints. That's my life. I am in constant pain, and live on MS Contin and Perc for breakthru pain. I take Voltaren for my arthritis, and am looking at something else to add to the mix. Sandie
