Yeah, June, you're on my weeding team.

Fuchsias don't smell, so you aren't missing anything.

We have lots, all different varieties, one with pink

white and pale green leaves.......very pretty.

Hi , I was going to post to June that I didn,t think there were any

fuschias that were scented, but then though maybe different varieties in

England than we have here in OZ.

My ex hubby and I had a magnificient garden in the mountains in Melbourne,

we won many garden comps, and out of all the flowers and shrubs etc, his

favourite were the dalias, and the fuschias, we had variety, every colour

and he played around to get all colours as he did( we) did with the

hydrangeas.

We had many variety of cammelia, , along with so many couldn,t possibly name

them all.

The people that we bought the home off, were very keen gardeners too, but

due to ill health had to move to the city, they used to come and visit us, I

always joked they were coming to check up on how well we kept the garden.

They were from England, he was from London, and she was from liverpool,

where my carer came from.

Any way, I don,t feel so silly now, .All the plants that were highly scented

were right down around all the 2 1/2 acres, not up close to the house.

I always had flowers in vases inside, in every room, nothing in the garden

upset my asthma, as they were well away from the house, but most were the

non pollen( very little) so didn,t worry me at all.

But the natives did, if I cut them to give friends I would nearly die.

Must go, keep up the good work re birthday bbok, will wait to see it posted

one day, Hugs,

Sandy ( silly)
