Guest guest
It's Faith. I'm the one who had the laminectomy on 11/30/05 and that nightmare with meningitis a week later. I finished home nursing. My insurance only allows four visits. The Physical Therapist they replaced the mean one with was awesome. I have many exercises now. Some make me pee unwittingly. But, She taught me alot. The pain has been almost manageable, but I still step on my own feet. And trip up sometimes. Some of the exercises she gave me (marching in place) is suppose to teach my body where my feet are. I feel lots better. My scar is almost completely scabbed over on the bottom. The incision he made on the top of my previous one looks like I had stitches a while ago. It looks okay as far as scars go. (I had a previous 5 inch horizontal scar from when I was born with spina bifida) the bottom is still scabbed over. It does seem to be healing though. There is this weird copy paper white piece of something hanging out. Like it is attached to me. My mom says it might be scar tissue, but I've never seen anything like it. It's pure white, skin looking, can't be pulled off. Thats near the center where the new and old scar meet. Unfortunately the symptoms I came in with I still have so far, with the added numbness of my right thigh and a new scar. Next is Vector Rehab. I don't know what they'll do there, but my physical therapist requested water therapy. (because of my knees). You know this could all turn out to be arthritis exacerbated by a tethered cord. thanks for being here Faith
