Guest guest Posted January 15, 2005 Report Share Posted January 15, 2005 Hey Sweet People...yesterday I had a wonderful time with my good friend (the friend who recently had thyroid cancer surgery.) She is a writer and we were out & about to all the local bookstores & coffee houses putting up flyers for her new book, " The Model Male " (science fiction! : ). is not very mobile right now, so she drove & I did the running around posting flyers. WOW, did doing that put things in perspective & reminded me of all I have to be grateful for. She commented on how wonderful it was to see me BE ABLE to do all the running around! We tried to get the hood of my car up, but, no go. So, I'm putting it 'on the shelf' until next week. I am safe & warm in my little home, watching the 'freezing rain' accumulate outside. I'm having a little trouble with my fingers & hands flaring, but it is not bad. Thank you all for your encouragement & prayers! You are all a TREMENDOUS blessing in my life! Hugs...
