Guest guest
Hi, This is totally off topic, but I really need to talk to you about my son. He is back at base right now. About a month ago he got cellulitis in his ankle, infected to the bone. I think I might have told you about this. Anyway, they sent him to Germany via Med a vac because he wasn't responding to IV antibiotics there in Afghanistan. He has been severely depressed after the 1st week of being at war. War has done a number on him mentally. He was only over there for a month and OMG cats, he is in horrible shape. He won't hardly talk to anyone. He has horrible nightmares, flash backs and anger issues. Is there anything I can do to help him? He's supposed to be coming home next week, but he won't come to my home, he will go to his fiancee's. I've gotten word from a friend of his here that they are talking about medical discharge with 75%pay. He is in such bad shape and I feel so helpless. I knew this was going to happen to him. I just knew it. I tried so hard to talk him into not going in the Army, but he wanted this so bad. He wanted to go fight for his Country. It totally breaks my heart to know the shape he is in. He is to b in town the 14th or 15th. The only reason he has contacted this friend is because he fought in Nam. He's 70 yrs old with lots of wisdom. I'm hoping he can help him. Any words of advise from you would be greatly appreciated. I'm so worried about him. Thanks and many hug, ~Tommie~ www.myspace.com/tommiejj PH, CFS, FMS, Diabetes, Sleep Apnea, Restless Leg Syndrome Don't waste energy second-guessing what you're missing or what can go awry. If you put enough energy into doubt, something will undoubtedly go wrong. Instead, focus on the positive possibilities with a hopeful attitude.
