Thanks for asking! I popped back on line for a few minutes since my

7 yr old fell asleep quickly (for her) but it's past time to get the

other 2 up. Anyhow... Dad went home today and is in pain, but has

his pain meds (he just doen't like taking them). Mom said he seems

to be doing ok, no activity for 2 weeks, just laying/sitting around

the house. That in and of it's self will about kill him! He is

normally constantly on the go. He has the typical type A personality

and is go, go, go, pushing thru pain and all. Hopefully he will take

the Dr's advice and not do anything! It about killed him when he had

his hip replaced 2 years ago and he couldn't play golf for weeks.

thanks you gina... i am feeling so much better... and today, i worked, went and

took care of my little lady andhere it is evening time and i am doing laundry...

i feel so pleased with this feeling better.. and not so tired~ i know realize

that i was pushing myself so badly... doing everuthing even if i hurt and was

tired... that sure can put ya in a bad mood! ha ha ha ha

my right knee is hurting, so i called my regular doctor and maybe he will exray

it to see if it is the RA or something that can be fixed! anyway, one way or

another... i need it fixed, i am liking this feeling better stuff! ha ha ha aha

hah a.

well, i have many more e-mails to read...

Yessum, Miss ....Most days I am keeping in the range of sparkpeople's recommendations of:

calories 1700-2050

carbs 191-333

fat 38-80

protein 42-79

Try to give myself a mix from all the groups too.... and, I am trying to stay at the low to mid level on all of those.... so, doing good!!

I haven't posted it yet, but since last Thursday I have lost 3 lbs by lowering all of those numbers (had spark tweak my levels), but I think the thing that has helped the most is writing it all down. I am seeing the nutrition-woman at the doctor in another 2 weeks and wanted her to see an idea of what I am doing so she can make recommendations... it really *does* help to write it all down LOL!!

hey, the news on your ex sounds good. I hope things continue to get better. And it seems you are doing excellent! Oh how i wish I had a trainer that would yell at me and keep me working my butt off. I have fell totally off the wagon and rolled down the hill. But on a side note I have started to get my exercise back in. My eating has taken quite a few steps back though. You really seem to enjoy your exercise. I think you got to a great point in moving your body. Is your eating as good as you do with your exercise? If so...then you are on your way to a whiole new you:)

Well, the week is off to a good start. Eating/water has been in control and working out is going well. I went to Curves today and met with the trainer to be assessed for the "advanced workout" which is basically they count how many reps you can do in the 30 seconds in full range of motion and correct form AND keep your heart rate in the targeted zone - so I passed (LOL) but it's gonna kick my hiney - which is a good thing.

I survived it.

Hey, on a positive note, thanks for the prayers for the kids and their dad. Mom took them to visit him in the hospital today and he was actually out of bed, sitting in a chair and had shaved. He thinks he is getting to go home Saturday, but doesn't know what will be done next or when... good signs, he hasn't been out of bed and vertical in a good month (roughly)... keep thinking and praying, if you think of it though please.

It sounds like you have it all mastered. Congrats on the 3 lbs. I have never kept up with the carbs,fat, and protein stuff. But I did count the calories. Great going for you! I'm getting off this computer and gonna have me some yummy cantelope fresh from my sisters-in-laws little garden for breakfast:)
