Guest guest
I started taking MSM 7-8 yrs ago when I had pain just in right leg and it helped a lot. I ran out one time and the pain was back fast so I've been taking every since. Also the glucosamine I take sometimes too. This year the pain has worsen and in both legs/feet/arms/hands. I was just taking 2-3 a day but now trying to take more like 6 a day but I think the glucosamine gives me some gastrointestinal irritation and maybe the MSM too but not sure if it's that or something else. I never read any bad side affects from MSM but I haven't done a google search on MSM for a long time. If the person can find out more info on the MSM and mercury combo leading the alzheimers, I will post what they say. MSM and Glucosamine suppose to help with inflamation. If you have inflamation pain, I'd suggest you try MSM and they make a MSM/Glucosamine combo also. I buy mine at Wal-mart. The ones with the Chrondroitin are high cost and I saw where they tested many brands and some had none of Chron. in them or a very little amount and not what was stated on the bottle. The MSM says on the bottle I have that it is an organic source of sulfur, a mineral that is vital in the formation of collagen, connective tissue, and healthy joint cartilage. From what I read years ago, MSM does a lot of good things for you. I think I'll go read some more about MSM. The acutal word is Methylsulfonylmethane, long word.
