Guest guest
Tawny, I know exactly what you mean. My memory isn't as good as it use to be and I have been guilty of doing the same thing a few times now. Split boiled eggs all over the floor and stove. haha I boil quite a few at a time so now I use a timer. It works as long as I keep the timer with me where I can hear it. (haha) Also, I hope to hear from someone who has made a move to a dry warm climate and if it helped. Actually I don't like warm climates, I'm a winter person myself but health comes first. It's hard to see my husband in such pain. However, before we make such a big decision to move, it would be nice to know if there is a " chance " that the move would be worth it. > > With all my meds, my mind isn't very good sometimes:) I put some > eggs on the stove to boil tonight, and forgot all about them. Guest guest
,......if I can remember, lol I will sure buy me a timer the next time I go to the store. Wouldn't it be nice to have two houses, then we could just do the casual, " I'm going to my summer cottage. " Would be great, for sure. It is a big decision that you two will have to make. There are quite a few from AZ, they can give you an idea what it's like down that way. Catch u later, Tawny > > > > With all my meds, my mind isn't very good sometimes:) I put some > > eggs on the stove to boil tonight, and forgot all about them. Guest guest
Terry, I know what you mean about forgetting things. I put a ham bone on to cook last week to make bean soup and then left the house to go grocery shopping...2 hours later when I finally was on my way back home I thought - oh my gosh...well all was okay - I had been in my right mind and had turned the fire down low to cook the soup... Usually I would get busy and forget things - now I just forget everything - I write myself notes all over the place. I was baking chocolate chip cookies a couple of weeks ago. Someone called, and there went my mind! When I went in the kitchen for something else, I smelled the cookies, they were black. Let's say was not a happy camper:( Glad to see you posting, I have been worried about you, T --- In , " blueroses11 " <bluerose11@e...> wrote: > > Terry, > I know what you mean about forgetting things. Guest guest
Tawny, Hmm, I've heard of having popcorn with TV, but never popeggs! Seriously, I've done that often, especially putting them on and then going outside to do something, then come back in to the most unholy smell! Somehow they just don't taste the same...
