Guest guest
Way to go, Tess! That is wonderful news. What are you doing as far as clothes are concerned? We're eagerly awaiting pictures when you're ready. Sue On Monday, October 4, 2004, at 10:50 PM, Grammi_Love@... wrote: > > Hi... I saw my bariatric surgeon today. Guest guest
Congratulations Tess!! I'm so proud of you. I know it is a lot of work, so it's so nice to see your efforts pay off. As far as the vitamin D, if you're not sun sensitive, why not get 15-20 minutes of sunshine each day and get the vitamin D that way? I know it's much more difficult with winter coming when you live so far north, but maybe you have a sunny window? a > > Hi... I saw my bariatric surgeon today. Guest guest
Great news Tess, yours is a real success story. Don't be surprised if Oprah invites you to go on her show soon as an example to others that it can be done. Hugs June ----- Original Message ----- From: Grammi_Love@... Hi... I saw my bariatric surgeon today. I am down 87 pounds since my surgery, 97 from my highest weight. All my labs are good except I am low on vit D even with supplementation. So, he rx'd heavy duty vit D - 50,000 IU 3 x per week. I am taking my supplements faithfully as the malabsorption component of the surgery makes things complicated at times. But, walking, dancing, fitting into booths & chairs, energy for grandkids, way less comorbidities and medications make this journey very worth it. Much love & many hugs...
