Guest guest
The attached message was posted to the homehealthline listserv. I am not familiar with the author, and don't know whether or not he is correct that agencies must pay overtime to per visit employees who work more than 40 hours in a week. But it did seem that, if true, this could impact numerous home health therapists. My understanding has been that per visit employees are not considered the same as hourly employees, and therefore are not subject to overtime laws. Is anyone else familiar with this topic? Are your agencies paying overtime to per visit therapists? Ann Note: forwarded message attached. ---------------------------------
