Guest guest
The last two or three days have been horrible. The pain is under control, but I am so darn tired. I get out of bed, eat breakfast, look at m email and then I have to go back to bed. I can't keep my eyes open. I sleep all day and all night. I wonder what is wrong with me. Does this come with fibro? In the evening after dinner I can't stop eating either. I don't know if its called craving, I think I could eat until I became sick and still want to eat more. I'm out of control. I can't afford to be this way. The pounds keep stacking up. I don't seem to have a purpose in being up. I can't do housework. All I do everyday is play games on the computer, and then only for a small amount of time because I start hurting on my bottom. lol I wish I didn't have so many problems with my health. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
Norma, Fatigue is a HUGE problem with Fibro, or you may have CFS instead of Fibro...or both! The only difference between the 2 is that the fatigue is worse than the pain with CFS. I've heard of people having both FMS and CFS at the same time. Have you been tested for CFS (been tested for the Epstein-Barr virus, etc)? About the cravings...what type of foods are you craving? Is it just any foods, or is it mainly carbs? If it's just food in general, it might be a side effect of your recent med changes. If it's mainly carbs, you might want to consider the possibility of systemic candida. I think has a file on the symptoms of systemic candida, and how it can affect a Fibromite. I hope your fatigue leaves you soon Norma. It normally hits me the worst during a flare, along with really bad fibro fog! The bad thing is, it usually hits at work, where I totally forget how to do my job, which I've done for almost 8 years! DUH! Take it easy sweetie! Jen-Moderator
Guest guest
Wow, that's the same thing that goes on with me. The last few days I've slept from about 2 -3 am until 6:30 the following evening, and I just don't feel rested. After dinner I go to bed and bring along a huge (mixing-bowl sized) bowl of cereal with lots of milk, along with the cereal box, and sit up and eat the box in one go. Well, I'm nodding off here, guess I'll run and have my bath while I can still hold my eyes open, lol! (I've heard toothpicks worked well for that, lol!) cyn At 08:31 PM 10/20/2004 -0400, Tigger wrote: Norma, that's exactly what happens to me. There are days at a time that I can't stay awake.
