Guest guest
Hugs Keliz So sad to read of your pain I've not been as bad as you, but I've ran out of my short acting pain medicine. Well, I have one pill left for tomorrow. I'm calling my doc in the morning in hopes of him being gracious enough to give me some more. I don't get mine refilled till the 14th. And there is no way with this cold weather that I can go that long on nothing. I do take long acting medicine, but once again with this cold weather it doesn't do it all by itself. I hope you are feeling better soon. I did manage to make 2 of my recipes for candy and cookies for trial. They both came out great. I did this on Saturday and then on Sunday I paid the price. I'll be ok, I always am. And I know you will be too. It sure seems to help to vent when we are down like this. My prayers and thoughts come your way. Gentle hugs, ~Tommie Today has not been good I was in so much pain and sooo tired I slept on the couch all day with my leg up. It has been 12 degrees here and it has done a number with my pain. Guest guest
Kelizabeth, I'm sorry your not feeling better. It's hard to deal with things when you can't walk. Its sunny here, but I'm pretty much spending the day in bed because I probably feel a lot like you do....and when that happend I try to jus tgo with the pain by taking meds, staying in bed or on the sofa, keeping heat or ice on it (depending on what feels good at the moment) and using what ever tools I have that will help. Take care, adn I hope you can maintain a reasonable level of pain today. Gayla http://chronicpain-byladyfrog.com Today has not been good It is raining and I dont feel well. My knees are screaming pain and my meds arent working well. I am coming down with a cold and feel lousy. My hubby doesnt want to hear me bitch, so I am turning to my friends. How is everyone else? Anyone have any sunshine? I was supposed to pick up my meds today but I dont think I will make it, at least I have an emergency stash. I hope my hubby will cook tonight. Ahhhhhhh. luv keliz ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ No need to miss a message. Get email on-the-go with Yahoo! Mail for Mobile. Guest guest
Tommie - I'm with you - I don't even very strong pain medication, but it does seem like I run out before I can get another prescription. It's so frustrating. I'm thinking that I should " stash " a few for future use maybe by pass taking some of the meds on a couple of " up days " . I don't know if I could or not...but it's a thought. One of the things I have been thinking about lately is that this is a wonderful group to belong to, with tons of support. I don't know if I told you before, I joined another yahoo group lately and was rapidly kicked out. IT really hurt my feelings. The monitors response to me was " my guess is you have more support than you need. " Really? is support limited also? I've just felt so welcomed into this group, and I am greatly appreciative of the ability to just be in here and vent, or share information freely. Personally, just having someone to talk to about the whole Sleep Apnea testing helped reduce a lot of the anxiety I was having around it. Thanks so much to everyone! Guest guest
I know, it is raining here, and it has been an OK day, as I had worse. Plus, tomorrow is going to be warm, again. In the 70's! Then by Wednesday it is going to be in the 50's! I just hope and pray I don't get sick. As I just saw that the Cherry Blossoms are starting to come out! POLLEN SEASON! I hope you are feeling better, soon!! As, I never knew real pain, til I had chronic pain. I really can understand how my parents felt, as they dealt with a lot of pain, before they died. I can't imagine how they kept their head up high. Gentle Hugs, Dawn in Jersey ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
