Welcome to the group!

I have no military background, but if you can get your RA under

control with medication, and you can perform your duties, would they

still have to discharge you?

Tell us more about what your position requires physically (standing

or walking a lot for example)? How have you been managing to this

point (well, sort of, not at all)? Have you started on any

medications and how are they working? If they aren't working, there

are likely other medications available (I imagine if you were just

diagnosed, you are not yet on a biological drug).

I'm sure you have a million questions, and we are all here to answer

them.
