Guest guest
Sorry about the typos...spell check won't check those and I did not proof read prior to sending it. Wanted to apologize before I was flamed. Steve Dralle [texasems-L] Re: Anything Wrong Here? , I am so proud of you for standing up to the self proclaimed " EMS God " for all to worship Dr. Bledsoe. I do know several of the personnel of the Bedford Fire Department all of which are very competent paramedics. Yes there are abuses of rotor wing services, but to pass judgment based on a newspaper article, should be considered gross negligence. Let me say for all who care to listen there are some great EMS docs in Texas, many of whom serve as Medical Directors for large EMS providers and very large hospital based medical control groups. Dr. Bledsoe may be a good doc,(and yes I know he serves as a Medical Director for several services, he is not the only authority as this chat group seems to think) but for him to pass judgment as he did in this case shows me his ignorance in the real world of pre-hospital emergent medical care. I believe Dr. Bledsoe should reconsider his inept (Webster's " wrong in a foolish and awkward way " ) attitude about the hard working paramedics of the Bedford Fire Department and write a letter of apology along with posting a copy on the site.
