Guest guest
Hi folks - went away for a while but I've been keeping up with the postings. My visit to Mt. Sinai for their transplant program is still going on - I have a few more appointments left. Saw Jacquelyn's post about her impending transplant - good news and a better future! My birthday's today - I turned 44 - it seems uneventful. I've wondering if anyone has any experience with the need for caffeine. I'm tired a lot and drink @6-8 cups of tea/coffee a day. The coffee actually bothers me, so I try to not drink it, but sometimes I do anyway. I don't think I could function without the caffeine. So if anyone has any input, I'd appreciate it. Hope everyone is feeling o.k. - I'm glad this group is here. Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Happy Birthday Bill! With PSC, each birthday is to be celebrated! Garcon, a round of chocolate milk for my friends............... Do you want to talk to someone who was transplanted at Sinai? I asked in a previous letter and never got a reply..... Penny william.mccarthy@... wrote: > My visit to Mt. Guest guest
Bill, Happy Birthday!!! And I hope you have many, many more. I try not to do caffeine, it's not good for the UC. If you need the energy you should try some gensing. Good luck, Larry ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Dear Bill, Thanks for the encouragement about that transplant. We are still waiting around on a call from the hospital. In response to your question re: caffeine...I seem to really crave it a lot too. I am sooo tired too and have two babies to take care of so the energy has got to come from somewhere. I really try not to drink very much of it b/c I know better and I wonder if it makes the itching more intense at night. Anyway, there's my $.02 as Dan says!! Everyone take care and God Bless you and keep you!! Love you guys!!!
