Guest guest
Thanks Lena, Yeah, I only took an intial large dose and then back down to 20-30 drops 3 x day with the tincture. You are definetly right on pace as I had reduced my lyme load and symptoms with garlic immune/andropgraphis but was not detoxing and then threw myself into also type symptoms that I am just now recovering from. I never realized how important detox was although I heard about a lot until the die off and the symptoms from that came. Live and learn....LOL... I have a couple of pounds of feverfew I think I will make a topical oil out of it and apply it also....thanks ,dana From: Guyot Léna Sent: Friday, May 13, 2011 8:40 AM To: Lyme_and_Rife Subject: Re: Re: Rash: Lyme lab-rattery 101 Hi Dana, So sorry to hear that your LLMD will be leaving you. I can't imagine how that feels, as I've never even had one, but Lyme presents us with so much loss that I know it must leave you feeling shaken. Just wanted to mention a word of caution. When I began feverfew, I knew that the recommended dosage was one cap, (380mg). I began with that, but after a few days, reasoned that my issues were so big and amplified by Lyme that more would be better and upped the dose to one cap with each meal. Then the diminishing of the redness in my patches stopped, and the redness seemed to return within a few more days. I reread the literature (which I can't put my hands on at the moment,) and decided to stick with their guidelines. Sometimes 'less is more', or, at least it was for me. My progress resumed. I've added a topical mix of gotu kola, feverfew extracts to some mix, and treat the patches locally several times a day. this is working, steadily, and slowly, and it's nice to know that one cap was really the right amount. Now I try to periodically, individually, test the quantities of all my supplements, as each layer of the onion may have different requirements and I certainly don't want to be purchasing and taking more of anything than is effective. Trial and error is so time-consuming, maddening, but the 'pace, not race' creeping up approach has proven over and over to be my most effective strategy. Even under a doc's care, trial and error seems to be the general method, but when one is having to make one's own judgements, the skill of listening to the body grow, and with it, confidence. I hope the tast for your child are definitively negative. Been there, so I know that feeling well. Best of luck. Be well, Léna Jim/Lena, I took a rather large dose of feverfew last night as the histamine reactions to this disease was crazy last night, and within 2 hours not only did the itch go away but a general feeling of creepy skin all left, I am going to add this to the mix and get back on my jap knotweed and stephania that I quit taking thinking maybe I am having an allergic reaction to something I am on. Also, in Buhner's book he says that Bartonella lives in the endothelial cells and aggravate that area and also causes anemia (which I have) and disrupts the rbc's production. So maybe that is it. I did make an appt. to get my co infections test done just for peace of mind and to also have my two year old tested so hopefully this test will give me indicators of what all I have in there. Also, my LLMD I just found and went to is leaving his practice, he called last night. Said a "recruiter" called him and offered him a excellent job in Afghanistan and good money if he would go. Go figure, one of the only llmd's in texas and this "recruiter" has picked him to be the one to go to Afghanistan, isn't there like a thousand other docs out there that could do this....I am not a conspiracy theorist but geeez......so now I have to find a new one....(sigh)...hope yall have a great day....dana From: jimjax2 Sent: Thursday, May 12, 2011 6:02 PM To: Lyme_and_Rife Subject: Re: Rash Hi Lena,There's probably more we don't know about Feverfew, so stay tuned!
