I'm going to see my pain management doctor on thursday, I want to get off the patch, considering its the procedure that relieved the pain. I feel like I'm dealing more with side effects now from the patch, so I think I only need my breakthrough dilaudid when the pain returns. I want to get off my pain patch as well. It's 100 mg. Fentanyl and I honestly don't think it does any good. I have to pay out of pocket for my meds and this is a high priced one too.
