Guest guest
Calling back, pharmacies etc,and they expect you to have the reference number handy .Sangeetha Interruptions of any type are the worst.I have a sign re: refills. To make sure you request during office visit and/or call 3 days in advance. Excluding system-wide issues such as low reimbursement & thinking of those little things at the office that get under your skin . . . Anyone care to share their top 3 irritants? .. MINE: 1. My all-time top irritant: Refill requests. Solved this by only filling during appts. 2. I used to hate interruptions during OVs but as an IMP it rarely happens as I control my office setting and have no staff knocking on doors . . . 3. Phone calls. By separating emergent/urgent calls to my cell & all else to landline & email I rarely have inappropriate cell calls from pts. Disclosure: I'm leading free retreats for physicians next month and through the winter . . . & as part of the workshop we're covering simple solutions for common office irritants. Just making sure I'm comprehensive. Pamela Pamela Wible, MD 3575 St. #220 Eugene, OR 97405 www.idealmedicalcare.org " (S)He is the best physician who is the most ingenious inspirer of hope.
