Guest guest
Well, I saw my doctor today. She is baffled as to what is causing my edema. She said my albumin level wasn't very low, but I should eat more protein and less carbohydrates. I'm getting a support stocking for now. She referred me to a specialist of Internal medicine. And the saga continues. Isn't there a diet that is high protein, low carbohydrate? Perhaps if I go on one of them I could lose some weight too. Oh well, I guess I'll have to have some patience until the diagnoses comes. Norma
Guest guest
Hi Alenna, I am so happy you got to the Doctor's regarding your Edema. I feel much better knowing you went in right away. I know I'm really happy with my Internal Medicine Group. They are the ones who actually dxd my fibromyalgia, cfs and ibs. Let me know if the support stockings help you. One other thing, off topic, where do you get your cute backgrounds and other pictures. I love them. What a cute way to send interesting emails. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone. Guest guest
The best actual diet I have ever heard of is a diabetic diet.. :c) I don't think its over high in protein so you could supplement REALLY easy but out of all the diet 'fads' out there the diabetic diet is really the healthiest for you.. :c) I sure hope its nothing to serious!!
