Donna has never had a movie made about her.

She's from Australia/Wales...

there was talk of a movie. As for gir/Interrupted, no wrong donna.

Ah, that explains why I was unclear. I was confusing na Kaysen with

Donna .

I only caught part of the movie as I was donating at Aventis one time. I

decided not to watch it, because the cinematography is so well done, and the

theme of the movie being what it is, it would make such a perfect " dex

film. " Having recovered from an addition to dextromethorphan, I know some

movies just have to be stayed away from, for my own safety.

Margot,

Thanks for the congrats!... However, I guess I should have just kept my

mouth shut about it.... I'm the type of person that if something is going to

fall, that it will fall in a manner such as to cause the most damage

possible. Unfortunately, there isn't going to be a new home after all. It's

a long story, very very long, and I won't get started on it, because if I

do, the email would completely fill everybody's mailbox to the max..

The financing fell through, even though it was a personal load between a

family member and myself. No, I don't have hard feelings for the family

member. It's not her fault. But rather than cause her anymore stress than

she's already dealing with we'll just call it quits at this point. Who

knows, maybe we'll get closer next time we attempt, and if we get closer

next time, it shouldn't be a complete and total disaster... because we'll

already be in it by then. But with the way my luck goes, the roof will fall

in right after we've moved everything in. LOL.

But thanks again for the congrats.. I knew I should have kept my big mouth

shut, otherwise I'd end up with a jinx of some sort.. LOL...

I'll keep tryin' to smile though

Yes, I do feel better! It's hard for me to believe that some people are the way they are as well. I've always believed, and will always try to keep believing, even with all the negative feedback, that seems to come back at me, that people in general are basically good people, and won't screw you over. [though sometimes it's hard to keep believing this way LOL]. And yes, I also believe that what you dish out, will come back to you tenfold. So I try to only dish good stuff. Sometimes I fail, and that as well, usually comes back to bite me in the butt.

Now to clarify the house deal. Yes, my cousin loaned me the money to purchase the home. Yes, she (my cousin) tried to pull the plug on the deal. Yes, the sales company said no refund. And Yes, if I'd have cancelled the sales contract, I'd have been 26,000 dollars in debt with no home. But, my cousin finally came to her senses, and realized that even though she had changed her mind (there was outside influence there as well.. another long story, but I won't get into that..LOL) that the only way she was going to actually come out on top, was to follow through with the original plan. So what that amounts to is:

#1 We're still getting our home! (most important, at least for me it is.)

#2 We've worked out a payment schedule that is satisfactory to both parties.

#3 Nobody lost anything.

I'm sorry that I confused you at the end of my dissertation. I didn't mean to. I just seem to find, using the word "definitely" in anything pertaining to myself, is NOT a wise thing to do. Because if I say "definitely" something WILL happen to change that "definitely" to a "probably not". LOL

As for me being "strong".. LOL........... I do know that things keep happening to PROVE to me that I am stronger than I think I am. But as I've always heard, and so far have found to be true, God never brings you to anything that He won't help you through (or something along that order).

It has been a stressful couple or three weeks.. but I will survive! Oh, and you are absolutely right on the fact that is an absolute angel! (one of these days, I'll tell ya how I know this to be a fact.. LOL) for now suffice it to say, that I believe with all my heart that was sent to me, by a higher power, right at the time when the higher power knew that I would need him the most!

Thanks ever so much for listening to me ramble. It is a real GOOD thing, to know that there are people out there, who do listen, and care! That's what I love about this group!

Thanks Everybody

Re: Donna

Dear Donna,

Do you feel better? That was a lot to get off your chest. You poor thing, I feel for you, I really do. I can see why it would be getting to you.......

For starters, I can't believe someone would steal your bankcard - there are some people in this world that really suck but I am a great believer in karma so smile quietly to yourself and be satisfied that one day it will all come back to haunt them.

Aren't electricity/gas companies and phone companies just great organisations to deal with!! Especially if you love to be on hold for a couple hours. That's what you needed before Christmas!!

Ok, now the loan - I am a bit confused about the situation. So, your cousin lent you money for a house, which you paid to the owner, and then she pulled the plug, but the owner wouldn't refund the money, so now your left with a $26 000 debt and no house. Is that right? I must have it wrong. Tell me that is not the case!

You are doing it really tough at the moment. It sucks because I can tell you are a really nice person. There is no justification for the situation you are in, it is just plain unfair. As they say it always happens to the nice ones!!

You are strong though and just take each day as it comes (you never know what good things are just around the corner). Plus, sounds like an absolute angel so I think the two of you will survive anything together. Take care of yourself and don't stress. Things can only get better!

Love, peace and friendship : )
