Subject: Feeling great!

I have finally made swimming at the Y a twice-a-week habit, and it is

a great thing. I start out with a soak in the hot tub and then I do

laps for 30 minutes. Now that my meds are working and I've made some

dietary changes, I've got a lot more stamina for exercise. I really

am feeling fine!

Quite a few. I went through a process to determine what foods gave me

trouble, and stopped (for the most part) ingesting those. I believe

that it's different for everybody, so I would never say that the way

I eat is the way anyone else should; it is simply right for me.

I quit dairy products, coffee (didn't think it was possible, but a

switch to black tea did the trick), bread, wheat products and bad

fats. I made a point to ingest more omega-3 rich foods, lots of fresh

fruits and (fresh and cooked) vegetables, whole grains, fish (esp.

salmon) and free range poultry. I'm buying as much organic food as

possible. For everything I gave up, I have a pretty good substitute,

so I don't feel the least bit deprived. I take supplements too.
