Guest guest
Vikki, Do you pay when you place your order and does Walmart Specialty Pharmacy provide a receipt with your shipping of Enbrel? When I used EHS they always sent a receipt in with my order of Enbrel and my Enbrel was always packaged in a styrofoam container and iced too. When CVS shipped my first order of Enbrel this past week it was in a cardboard box with ice........no styrofoam and no receipt. I called CVS and they said they don't process payment for a couple of weeks and it might be a month before I get a receipt showing I have paid. So far I am very disappointed with CVS mail order and I am going to call HR department at work and see if there is a way that I can use Walmart Specialty Pharmacy. I don't know if my insurance will allow me to but I am going to call and see if I can. Do you have the number for Walmart Specialty Pharmacy? Wanda :0 In a message dated 1/17/2005 9:21:05 A.M. (I suppose they don't want me to take my business elsewhere!) The Enbrel arrives the very next morning by FedEx. It is packed very well in a styrofoam container and iced. I always receive a travel sharps container and bandages with my order. It's worth checking into. Vikki ----- Original Message ----- From: waferg63@... Our insurance just changed over and I am nervous about having to use CVS. We used EHS and the service was great. After reading your email I think I will stay on the old Enbrel. Any help you can give me regarding CVS would be much appreciated. Wanda In a message dated 1/15/2005 11:27:00 A.M. For such an expensive medicine, you'd think they could spend another dollar to get sharp needles. I always let it come to room temperature before injecting, and I also inject very slowly, so I haven't experienced any stinging. I also think that the new Enbrel doesn't last the full week. Or maybe that's my imagination. I will call Enbrel and complain. But next week when it's time for CVS to reorder my Enbrel, I'm going to ask for the old again. Since then, I just tell them to put my co-pay on the same debit card. They keep the information on file. I'm very pleased with this service. Their phone number is 877-453-4566. Good luck!
