Vikki,

Do you pay when you place your order and does Walmart Specialty Pharmacy

provide a receipt with your shipping of Enbrel? When I used EHS they always

sent a receipt in with my order of Enbrel and my Enbrel was always packaged in

a

styrofoam container and iced too. When CVS shipped my first order of Enbrel

this past week it was in a cardboard box with ice........no styrofoam and no

receipt. I called CVS and they said they don't process payment for a couple

of weeks and it might be a month before I get a receipt showing I have paid.

So far I am very disappointed with CVS mail order and I am going to call HR

department at work and see if there is a way that I can use Walmart

Specialty Pharmacy. I don't know if my insurance will allow me to but I am

going to

call and see if I can. Do you have the number for Walmart Specialty Pharmacy?

I order my Enbrel through the Walmart Special Pharmacy. They are great -

even calling me to remind me to refill my prescription! (I suppose they don't

want me to take my business elsewhere!) The Enbrel arrives the very next

morning by FedEx. It is packed very well in a styrofoam container and iced. I

always receive a travel sharps container and bandages with my order. It's

worth checking into.

Sue,

I see in your email that you use CVS when ordering Enbrel. How do you like

them? Our insurance just changed over and I am nervous about having to use

CVS. We used EHS and the service was great. After reading your email I

think

I will stay on the old Enbrel. Any help you can give me regarding CVS

would

be much appreciated.

I have had three injections of the new Enbrel, and I agree with you

that the needles are dull! For such an expensive medicine, you'd think

they could spend another dollar to get sharp needles. I always let it

come to room temperature before injecting, and I also inject very

slowly, so I haven't experienced any stinging.

I also think that the new Enbrel doesn't last the full week. Or maybe

that's my imagination.

I will call Enbrel and complain. But next week when it's time for CVS

to reorder my Enbrel, I'm going to ask for the old again.

Wanda,

The first time I ordered a refill on my Enbrel from the Walmart Special

Pharmacy, they took my debit card info on the phone. Since then, I just tell

them to put my co-pay on the same debit card. They keep the information on

file.

I'm very pleased with this service. Their phone number is 877-453-4566.

Good luck!
