Guest guest
Hi guys, Welcome to all the new members, wow we are growing by leaps and bounds here! My name is Leigh, I don't post enough. For those that don't know me, I have suffered chronic back pain since 92. I was working in a nursing home when a man with alzheimers decide to pick me up and throw me against the wall. I weighed only 98 lbs. then. After that incident, I stupidly moved a total care patient by myself, and that did me in. I don't, can't work now because of that. I am married to the most amazing man, my soulmate. He is very attentive to my needs, and very empathic to my chronic pain. He also suffers chronic neck and back pain due to 2 car accidents. But he loves working, and will work until he can't physically do it anymore. I found this group to be so supportive, even if we just vent our frustrations here, which I have a tendency to do. It helps to know that there are people here who know just what I'm feeling. This has been an okay week, I did have to stay in bed a couple of days due to the pain. I take morphine sulfate ER and I'm having some breakthrough pain, time to go back to the docs and discuss breakthrough meds. I am hoping to find some kind of job that I can do at home, but so far my search has turned up nothing, I'll just keep looking. I do hope this will be a great Monday for everyone, Leigh
