Guest guest
Patti, you crack me up. You sound like me! Grab those reports, seak out advise, ask questions and act semi-educated, LOL! I have to vent for a moment....Aubrey will like this one. Our regular GP family dr., she loves all of us and communicates to all of us as a family, s situation, myself and the kids. s research Doctors assistant research nurse loves me:) She respects my questions and concerns and answers me promptly. Then there is the GI doctor.....oh boy, s primary PSC dr.. I'm having a hell of a time trying to communicate with him. He is a very inpatient man. He gets frustrated with me when I call him if is having symptoms, etc.. I have grown to know that everyone doesnt need to like me, haha. But, someday I am going to lay into him!!! He made me mad when was first dx, he said that this wasnt as serious as diebetes. I thought to myself, yeh, right! Guess we didnt hit it off so well. But, finally, the important thing is that just loves him to death. is a very boisterous and funny man, and Dr. Donovan really enjoys having as a patient. I think brings him joy because is a positive person with a positive outlook....So the Dr. gets some happiness from him, not like having constant dome and gloom with other patients. So, I stay away from their time together, then just followup with the nurse on the reports etc. But, I have that " need to know " syndrome. I like being educated and prepared. Plus, I feel the GI needs to know when has something going on with him!!! does not report half the things he should, so I do it. ( he is still a little in denial).....Sorry, I got really long winded there:) Take care everyone, wife of dx 1997
