Guest guest
Hi! Where in Ohio are you? I'm between Urbana, Springfield and Mechanicsburg - 8 miles from each! We have lived here in the same house for 29 years, and just love it! My husband farmed for the first 15 years, then had to get out of it after 8 bad years in a row. Now he works at Honda in the paint shop. He hates being indoors, but the benefits are wonderful. If it wasn't for Honda insurance, I wouldn't be able to afford all those expensive RA treatments... Guest guest
Pat, I was very lucky and had an excellent doctor. He diagnosed me immediately. My problems started after being treated by a real Rheumy. That's where my experience changed for the worse. I don't think I was treated aggressively enough, and just floated along, not knowing that the doctors were doing right or wrong. Thanks to this board and the wonderful people here, I've made a few decisions that have helped, but still need to convince my Rheumy to do something to make me better. He has an analogy he uses about Hitler and his Generals, but I think we've only beaten Gomer Pyle.
