Guest guest
The steroid injection finally did work! It really started working yesterday. The nagging pain in my right leg is almost completely gone, however, the Rt. SI pain is still there but not as bad. I did things yesterday that I haven't done in almost a year! Went to the garden center with hubby and picked out some plants and flowers for the yard. Didn't even have to rest and take a nap! Gee...I hope this lasts until we get back from our vacation in Vancouver next month. The pain for the 1st few days after the injection was awful but, now, I can see that it was worth it. I am worried though about getting too many steroid injections. I have not had a bone density test yet and I am worried about the steroids making things worse. I am small-boned and osteoporosis runs strong in our family. Thanks again for all the support here. This group is wonderful! I hope I can give back a little now that I'm feeling better.
