Guest guest Posted January 7, 2005 Report Share Posted January 7, 2005 Ok- I admit- I havent been posting- just reading. Remember me- I am Jill. A relative newbie to RA and to the group. Quick recap- found out I had RA back in Nov. I have been having issues with finding a Rheumy but Praise God- finally found one who will accept my insurance- and I have an appointment for June 20th. In the meantime, my doctor has finally put me on Plaquinil-200 mg. She upped me to 600mg of Celebrex daily ( it is helping and I will take my chances until they pull it off the market) and still on the 5mg of prednisone a day. We also added 600mg of Neurontin 3x per day. The combo seems to be working. I am doing a little better. Physically, anyway. I have not had to miss a work day- I can make it through the day and deal with the pain. Mentally- I am still shaky. I keep waiting for this whole thing to go away. And its not happening. But I am still waiting. Maybe someday it will- or I will wake up and it will all be a dream. It happened on Dallas- it can happen to me, cant it? Thanks for being here everyone.
