I have 2 of them, weekly ones, my nurse comes by every 2 wks and fills them up and draws up 2 wks worth of my long acting Insulin too. This way I only have to handle my short acting Insulin as I almost put myself in a coma once with the insulin. And have had to call poison control a couple of other times due to over dosing myself with my other meds. I take, I think, 28 pills per day, not including pain meds or allergy stuff when needed. So, no, I don't want to mix my meds up or take too much of anything. lol The Neurontin, I can only take a small dose of it as it caused too much sleepiness. I only take 600mg 3x's a day and it helps for what I need it for. Oh RSD I hear is a really bad illness to live with Bless you. Do you take Requip for the RLS? I use to take that for mine, but I'm not too terribly bothered by the RLS anymore, after many years of having horrible times with it. The Requip helped me when I use to take it. Yes, 2007 MUST be better! I don't want to see worse. lol Hugs Tommie o tommie that insulin pump would be great for u u take your blood sugar then type it in then type in the carbs and it tells u how much insulin u need and u either say ok or u can make it less.. but it sure keeps sugars in control...my husband handles filling it im sure i could never remember howit holds enough insulin for 3 or 4 days not to bad Rose
Guest guest
The Baclofen does help the spasms from the RSD. I was taking Flexeril, but I had been on that for so long that it no longer worked for me. I can't say if it makes me sleepy because I take so many meds that make me sleepy, but I have no adverse effects from it.
