Guest guest
Our out patient physical therapy service has been approached by a group of physicians who do nutrition counseling. They would like to refer patients to us so we can set them up on an exercise program that they could continue to do in our gym. Since no insurance will cover this we plan to set this up as a cash business. In our early brain storming process we are thinking of seeing a patient once for screening and an initial aerobic program followed by another visit within a week to add strengthening and then perhaps a few more follow up visits, charging enough to produce as much income per session as we would get by seeing a patient covered by insurance. We would also be charging a monthly fee to use the exercise equipment. If there is anyone offering a similar program I would appreciate any input. We may also get a psychologist involved in the program as well. Swensen PT Community Care PT Community Care Physicians Latham NY KSwensen@...
