Hi Everyone!!!!

I want to say welcome to all of the new members. One of you posted that you

don't know who I am. And, I'm sorry for that! I am the creator/moderator of

. I was away for about 3 months, in which time athan filled

in for me.

Barb, Dalton already has a dog. It's an English Setter, a little over a year

old. We need to get him properly trained though, because he is way to hyper

to have around Dalton right now. But, I agree with you. Pet therapy does

wonders for people. I'd like to get Dakota (Dalton's dog) trained to

retrieve things for him, and to help him in daily living aspects. <Sigh>

it's just finding time to get the dog trained. I was right last night,

when I posted that I thought Dalton had Tonsilitis (sp?) I took him to his

PED today, and he has tonsilitis, a right ear infection, and a sinus

infection. He starts the antibiotics tonight. I'm just praying that he

won't have to have surgery, and the tonsil will be taken care of quickly with

the antibiotic. He might be fine going through surgery, but I don't know if

my heart can handle even once more of him being sedated! <Grin> Can you tell

that I'm a little protective of him?

Okay, sorry for rambling on and on... and I realize that this was mostly a

personal post (sorry again for that.).

For all of the new members, and for all of you " old " members, if you have any

questions, comments, or concerns please don't hesitate to e-mail me

personally!

Love,
