Guest guest
I read some of your chat about sleep meds. I wondered why he put me on Elavil instead of something like Ambien. Doc told me the Elavil has a side effect that eliminates pain in some patients. I haven't been on it very long - about 6 months, but it has been working for me and my fibromyalgia. That all over hurting - pain is almost completely gone. Not every day, but I have more good days now than bad. They had me on a real low dose when I started, my last visit they doubled it. It puts me to sleep and like I said, that all over pain is almost completely eliminated. It's like a miracle for me!
Guest guest
Hi , my name is Ladonna, I was diagnosed with fibromalgia(sp?), I should know how to spell this by now as many doctor appointments I have, anyway I took Elavil, it did not completely took away my pain, even though I really wasn't looking for that, I was just trying to sleep without being awaken by pain, Elavil did help me do that, taking Elavil enabled me to sleep through the night without being interupted by pain. The only thing I did not like it left me feeling " foggy " but after awhile that side effect wore off too. LaDonna. > > I read some of your chat about sleep meds.
