Guest guest
Hi Folks, For those with afib that's caused or complicated by gerd, I've learned that letting a lifesaver melt in your mouth after meals helps to keep the food where it belongs. (Well, sometimes it takes more than one of the mints.) The lifesaver causes you to keep swallowing, and this has stopped afib for me several times. I prefer wintergreen flavor, because the mint is soothing to the tummy. Also, I stop eating at about 4:00 in the afternoon, and this helps control the gerd, too.
