HuBit genomix to Launch Pharmacogenomics Research on Rheumatoid Arthritis

Tokyo (JCNN) - HuBit genomix has announced that it has agreed with the

Matsubara Mayflower Hospital and the Joint Regeneration Research Institute

to collaborate in pharmacogenomics research on rheumatoid arthritis drugs.

In particular, the three companies will develop an epidemilogical database

of rheumatoid arthritis treatments. They also plan to conduct single

nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) using the database.

Through these research activities, they aim to establish a method to confirm

efficacy and predict side effects of drugs that are currently marketed or

used in clinical trials.
