Do any of you have a problem dropping things? I broke my right hand last March,

and have had a problem ever since. I originally thought that could be the

source of my problem, but now I'm not sure. Comments?

Vikki,

I'm the original " Fumble Fingers! " I drop lots of things, but the

reasons I do may be different from yours. When I'm in a " Dercum

Flare " (I don't have RA, I have Dercum's Disease and fibro) my wrists

and elbows are swollen and it's not safe to give me sharp objects.

My husband thought he'd qualify for a target in a knife-throwing act.

You probably should check with your ortho to see what might be

causing it. Are your fingers numb? In my case there is some

neuropathy caused by tumors pressing on nerves, so my hands just go

weak.

Good luck!

yes, dropping things all the time. Mostyly paper and stuff in a store. I

try to always carry a purse or have pockets and not hold stuff in my hands. I

have lost stuff like checks for bills and paperwork for the kids school from

the car to the the designation. Just that quick!

I am always dropping things, also it may take me a

couple of trys to even pick something up. My best

trick is falling backwards. Margo
