Guest guest
Vicki, you can still request the regular sharps containers from Enliven at any time that you need them. They provide them at no charge to the patient. So if you prefer the large regular container than I would call Enliven and get one. I don't care for the travel sharps container..its too hard to use. I am going to check out the walmart speciality pharmacy in case I need to go back on meds. It would be nice to get monthly amounts of meds mailed directly to my home instead of going to Walmart. My old insurance was good but the co-pays were killing me. Now I dropped my insurance it was COBRA coverage. Hubby has coverage but its not too good...the co pays are quite high. So my goal is to stay off meds. They want to get as many of those co-pays as they can!! I've gotten the sharps containers from Enliven too. I must say I MUCH prefer their large containers to the small travel containers, but either will do. Since I'm get the travel containers with my regular prescription, I'll just keep using them. I also have to agree with you about the regular Walmart pharmacy. I always have to fight the long lines whenever I pick up any of my prescriptions, although they always have what I need. Now this is where I wish I could get 3 month's worth! Between my husband's and my prescriptions, I have to go almost every week to pick up something! What a hassle! At least I can be thankful that we have GREAT insurance that picks up most of the cost. Actually, my husband may have to delay his retirement just so we can keep his health benefits. He'll have 20 years at his company in a couple of years, but has to keep working until he's 55 to keep his health coverage. We couldn't survive without it. It stinks, but that's just the way it is. Vikki Re: ENBREL USERS PLEASE READ! I order my Enbrel through the Walmart Special Pharmacy. They are great - even calling me to remind me to refill my prescription! (I suppose they don't want me to take my business elsewhere!) The Enbrel arrives the very next morning by FedEx. It is packed very well in a styrofoam container and iced. I always receive a travel sharps container and bandages with my order. It's worth checking into. Vikki
