Guest guest
, if your husband could get a job in a factory in maintenance as a electrician he can sure make some money. My son is a electrician for a Company called Southwire. He has worked hard and climbed the ladder to Electrician Technician and he is making $24.00 a hour in not hardly 2 years. that is a very good trade. My husband is a machinist and the demand for that trade has almost gone to nothing other than job shops with hardly and benefits and little pay. He has just recently transferred to another department for fear of the need of his job. There is a demand for electrician in our area. Ken worked as a residential electrician helper while he was in school and he didn't like that. and the pay was sorry too. I think like $9.00 a hr. I wanted Ken to work residential long enough to get his license. down here you have to have 3 years experience to test to become license but he said he didn't like that end of the business plus he has much better benefits. Guest guest
, I wish we could afford to have Danny not work while going to school. He is currently in the Motel business. Was going into management, but it really doesn't pay that much with the Motel chain he is currently with. And to go into management in a better chain would require a degree, which he has not. So he has decided to go into welding. He will start school next month. I wish he could stay home, but we just can't afford it. I only wish we had that luxury! lol I'm glad Dennis is going to school and will be out soon. It's hard to live on one income let alone have that income be a disability check. Thank God you have no children. We have no bills, but have a son and 3 dogs. lol So I guess you could say we have 4 children, as they are 4 mouths to feed. lol Those darn immigrants are going to take over our Country if Bush doesn't do something about it and that's as far as I'll go with that. It's a BIG soap box. lol We are the land of opportunity! For everyone else. lol I hope you are doing ok. ~Tommie > > Hi and welcome to the group:) > I see you live in Tenn?
