Hi Jen, I don't think I have Fibromyalgia because my condition is also

progressive. It seems like we on the same boat. Doctors can't tell

me why I have certain pains and where the pains are coming from.

I don't recall reading that Fibromyalia has symptom of inflammation

either. Anyway I'm looking forward to some sort of relief, especially

from the inflammation; this gets pretty bad.

LaDonna,

For the longest time, I had " classic " Fibro symptoms. Then all of a

sudden I started getting worse, and it's been progressing for a

while now. If you go back in the posts, you'd see that I used to be

pretty well in control of it all, through diet, exercise, sleep, and

meds/supplements. Now, it's hit or miss if ANYTHING works.

I have the same problem with not knowing where certain pains are

coming from, or why. When I had the facet injections on Thursday,

that was my 3rd set of injections, and also the 3rd type. I've had

SI joint injections, nerve root blocks, and then now the facet

injections. He made the comment that my case was unusual because

they were having so much trouble finding the root source of my

pain. I have sacroiliitis, but SI joint injections didn't

work...figure that out!

You're right that Fibro does not have the symptom of inflammation.

I have chronic widespread tendonitis, however, because of the

antibiotic I took that started this all. I also have some joint

problems as well.

I really hope that the injections help you get some relief. Is this

your first time receiving injections? Don't be like me, ask for

sedation! I will be on my other set of facet injections...they were

a LOT more painful than the other 2 sets of injections I had!!!

Hi Jen, I had my first Epiderial injection this morning, it wasn't as

bad, alot of pressure, and I had extreme sensitivity at the back of

neck and neck durning the injection.

In 2wks I have a followup to discuss what could be going on, if they

are able to tell, and possible solutions/treatments.

I'm hoping the inflammation at my neck/back subsides. I'm also hoping

the spasms will not be quite as bad, this should take a few days the

doc says.

Anyway I read your post through my email. I took the ANA test, my ANA

is positive. They (primary doc) did a DNA strand. This was negative.

The only question is, What autoimmune disease do I have?

Anyway besides the chruch speaker what has been going on with you?

Mon. & Tues. I helped my girlfriend with clean her apartment. She's

in a wheelchair so I help her with her cat(feeding him and cleaning

the litter pan) help her with laundry, etc. I like spending time with

her and time playing with her cat Windspirit. Well take care, this in

case I'm unable to get back to the group everyone have a nice weekend.
