Dear Althea: I was just reading your email and I am glad that you question

what your Doctors give you. It is nice to know that you are intelligent enough

to know how to check out meds and not just take what the Doctor gives you

because he is the Doctor. I wrote to another person on this list about

questioning what a Doctor does and asking for specific meds and I was told he

was the

Doctor and not her and that she didn't go to medical school. It is such a

shame when patients do every little thing their Doctor wants without questioning

them. After all we are the patients, and it is our bodies. We have a right to

look out for what we put in our bodies too.

I just want to say you are a smart lady and good luck. I hope you soon have

less painful days.
