Guest guest
Hi Everyone, It's been awhile since I've been on line and alot has happened. The most recently was my experience at the mayo pain clinic. I lasted 2 days. Not because of withdrawal or couldn't do it. I am in a position of having a 1 3/8 leg length difference and need to use a cane to walk. Within my first 5 hours of being there I was upgraded to a walker and the following day I was using a wheelchair. It shocked me that they push so hard and it's like they don't even hear you when you tell them that this is too much and using a aid of any kind is a pain behavior. Well by the third morning I was out the door and we didn't even get to discuss my pain meds or even a physician visit. I was extremely disappointed with it. Although I did learn a lot about bio-feedback and will use it in my daily life. Has anyone in here gone through a pain clinic? Does anyone have a leg length difference and if so please share how you cope and help yourself to walk better and is there any physicians that will correct it with surgery. Take care,
